“How we curate our community is sacred because I’ve never been a 'joiner' or ‘community person’ by nature. Truth is, I rarely felt like I fit in or belonged for most of my life.
I struggled and judged myself because I wanted to feel more connected or 'at ease' with group dynamics. I often felt imposed upon and received unsolicited advice from folks that I didn't feel really got me, so what they said didn’t fit.
I realized what I yearned for was to be supported to explore my deeper truth in a way that I felt safe and seen. I wanted help to bring out what was already inside of me that I couldn't see or access on my own.
